Update 9-24-07
Welcome back for another year with PolyHabitat! There's sure to be a lot more going on in the coming months with a new ReStore location in San Luis Obispo and progress still being made towards starting on the homes in Atascadero in the next couple months. Plan to come to our first club meeting on October 2nd at 6:30pm in room 3-113 (the business building).
Update 6-16-07
School's out for summer and so are we, but the local SLO affiliate will still be very busy going about their normal business and also preparing for construction of the four unit lot in Atascadero. Check out their link under affiliations if you're looking for ways to get involved over the summer.
Update 5-21-07
Our furniture sale was quite a success and brought in a net of $1,630 to the club! We look forward to using the money to give back to the community and we'll continue to support the San Luis Obispo County Habitat for Humanity affiliate locally and around the US.
Update 5-2-07
We are taking in furniture donations and making pickups until the day of the sale on May 19th from 8am to 4pm. The location will be at 2146 Parker St. in San Luis Obispo. Contact us through our email shown below if you have anything to donate or you can just stop by the day of the sale if you want to check out what we have.
We still have opportunities available to volunteer up until the end of this quarter, so send us an email if your interested. Our club will be taking a vacation for the summer, but we should come back to the start of an exciting building opportunity in Atascadero in September.
